First senior goalkeeper ready for Degerfors: “Fun to get started”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Degerfors goalkeepers Jeff Gal and Alfie Whiteman left the club after last season. But now, with just over two months left until the season premiere, the club once again has a senior goalkeeper in the squad – Jonas Olsson, who joins from Brommapojkarna.

– It’s a bit different, but football here too, so I think it’s just fun, says Jonas Olsson.

Jonas Olsson was the first goalkeeper in Brommapojkarna but lost his place when Oscar Linnér was brought in and then the club chose not to renew his contract.

– He was free, so it has been quick and easy, says Patrik Werner, sports manager.

In the clip, you see Jonas Olsson’s first training session with Degerfors and what goalkeeper coach Maria Busk Madland thinks about his ability.
