Egea, which was brought to life by TOFAŞ as a result of the works for the domestic market after Linea, has passed the production threshold of 1 million units in these days when we are getting ready to leave the year 2022 behind. The Fiat Egea family, which was introduced to the world for the first time at Istanbul Autoshow 2015 and managed to achieve this important production figure in a short time, also reaped the fruits of the right steps taken in the process. Its name, which refers to the Aegean Sea that connects Turkey to Europe, also drew attention with its role in the birth of the model and also as a tribute to the Turkish automotive industry. Fiat Egea, which was initially developed as a Sedan and impresses with its large interior volume and stylish style, was introduced to the market by gradually developing hatchback and station wagon bodies.

Designed, developed and offered for sale considering the tastes and wishes of Turkish consumers, Fiat Egea was selected as the Car of the Year in Europe in the AutoBest 2016 evaluation, which determines the best car to be purchased for the customer in Europe the following year.
