Ferrari police car taken from criminals in Czechia

In the statement made by the Czech Security General Directorate, it was stated that the sports car, which previously served criminals, will now contribute to the police forces in the fight against crime.

“CAR thieves will be caught with Ferrari”

It has been noted that Ferrari, which was equipped and looked like a police vehicle with an expense of approximately 12 thousand Euros, will be used to prevent illegal races and to catch car thieves.

Noting that the police forces seized nearly 900 cars with high market value last year, Tomas Kubik, Deputy Director General of Police, noted that most of these vehicles were sold and the proceeds were transferred to the state treasury.

Kubik stated that some of the confiscated vehicles were used to compensate for the damages caused by the criminals to the public, and a certain percentage was given to public institutions and organizations, just like Ferrari. (AA)
