Rainbow colors in the gaming setup

What color accents does Bethesda use for their game? Starfield’s design is unmistakably reminiscent of the color spectrum of rainbows. The logo and pattern for the game are blue, yellow, orange and red on a white background. Inspired by this, fans of the game are showing off their color-matched gaming environments and sharing them with the Reddit community.

How are the fans preparing? While some gamers simply change their desktop backgrounds to Starfield with different motifs, other users on Reddit are also creative. Individuals place “space decorations” like a Lego spaceship on the desk or on the shelves above.

What are the Starfield fans coloring in? In the posts you can also see white peripheral devices again and again. Keyboards in which some letters have been replaced by colorful counterparts and, thanks to their arrangement, form a rainbow stripe are particularly popular. The picture is often completed by a table mat printed with a game logo or a mouse pad. You’ll also occasionally spot a Starfield-inspired Xbox controller that Microsoft released exclusively for the release.

The real highlight, however, are the gaming PCs presented with side windows made of glass and their bright RGB lighting.

Starfield pops of color beyond PC gaming setups

What other ideas can players come up with? Cross-platform gaming is a given these days. So it’s not surprising that some fans are also targeting other tech devices and color-coordinating them to Starfield.

Even if the space RPG on the Steam Deck will run less efficiently despite our tips for more FPS, one Reddit user insisted on adapting his handheld optically to it.

Even more elaborate and prettier to look at, but all the more tragic is the Reddit article about a Playstation 5 including a Starfield-style controller.

Why isn’t Starfield on PS5? Since Bethesda now belongs to Microsoft, the group has put a stop to a release on Sony’s console. Only PC and Xbox players can enjoy playing Starfield at the moment.

Microsoft even ups the ante

In cooperation with the mattress manufacturer Tempur, the Xbox developer showed a Starfield gaming chair at this year’s Gamescom. With this, Microsoft far surpasses the projects of the fans.

The piece of furniture, dubbed the “Dream Chair”, is designed like a spaceship cockpit. A huge screen, a joystick on each armrest and countless knobs and buttons leave nothing to be desired.

Is the chair commercially available? The chair is not for sale and is expected to find a new owner for charity at the end of the year.
