Extremely popular ProSieben show should save Sunday evening after Blockbuster Aus

ProSieben ended an era last year. After many years the broadcaster stopped the blockbuster Sunday eveningto show shows or sports broadcasts instead. ProSieben only had limited success when the Local Hero show format flopped completely.

Now the broadcaster is starting a new attempt to save Sunday evening. One popular show with Joko Winterscheidt changes the slot for it.

Who steals the show will be on ProSieben soon on Sunday evening

As reported by DWDL, who is stealing the show is running from February 19, 2023 always on Sundays instead of Tuesdays. The show, which according to ProSieben one of the most successful in-house productions is then broadcast in prime time.

Last summer, the show’s fourth season averaged one in the 14- to 49-year-old demographic Market share of more than 20 percent. For comparison: the first episode Local Hero only had a market share of just over three percent in September. ProSieben is therefore sending a real ratings hit into competition with long-running Sunday evening hits like Tatort. It remains to be seen how successful the broadcaster will be.
