Two explosions occurred in Stockholm the night before Monday in different parts of the city. A little after three local time, an explosion occurred at the gate of a residential building in the Grimsta area. Just over an hour later, a smaller explosion occurred in Bagarmossen.
A total of five people were detained in Stockholm on Monday after explosions in the Grimsta district and Bagarmossen in the western part of the city, police said.
No one was injured in the explosions.
Among other things, according to the afternoon newspaper Aftonbladet, it could have been a revenge attack related to a well-known rap artist. According to the newspaper, it would have been revenge for the New Year’s Eve shooting in Vällingby, in which one person died and two people were injured. – Someone wants their revenge now and strikes with force against the people they believe did something or know something about what happened (Einár’s murder), a police source tells Aftonbladet.
