Something has exploded at the entrance to an apartment building in Mjölby. According to the police, there was smoke and a fire, which has now been extinguished, in the stairwell.
A person has been arrested on suspicion of public destruction, the police in the East region told TT.
The alarm about the incident, which Corren was the first to report on, came in just after three o’clock on Saturday night.
About 80 people are said to be registered in the house. They have not had to evacuate but have been asked to remain in their apartments, according to Mikael Ehne, officer on duty at the police.
There are no reports that anyone was injured.
