The shy guy farmers often get a bunch of hot ladies after them. The ladies then shower the peasants with compliments and you can clearly see that they have a hard time handling all the flattery.
The girl farmers, who often have a little gunpowder in them, often get a bunch of shy cuties who land on the farm.
The entertainment in Farmer Seeking a Wife has a very lovely and smooth dramaturgical arc. Everything from the farmers getting to meet their letter writers for the first time, to them starting with crayfish slices and sneaky kisses. You then quickly get to the part when people are forced to go home ruined and boarded up.
But now we come to the best that not only the program but that the whole of TV Sweden has to offer. Opportunity in Bonde seeks wife who breaks most of what is shown.
And that is the so-called speed dating.
I don’t know what it is, if it’s because we’re all so fucking naked and stripped when we have five minutes to sell ourselves on? On such an occasion we are all equals under the same sky. Or is it just generally scary with first impressions as we humans typically need five seconds to decide whether we have taken a liking to someone or not?
Sometimes you see that a first meeting can be stiff and completely without chemistry. But many times we get to see how it CLICKS properly already after a few hundredths. And excuse my French but we all saw what happened in the first episode this year right?
Country-loving ostrich farmer Micke has been through hell when his wife died suddenly 27 years ago. They had been married for five years. Their one child was three years old and the other was one and a half. The carpet was pulled out from under the feet and life turned black.
– Without the children I wouldn’t have managed, he said when he met Linda Lindorff for the first time.
After that, he has been afraid to meet someone new. But after 27 years, he feels it’s a bit now or never.
