Europe brakes behind Wall Street Piazza Affari stands out

(Finance) – The Milan Stock Exchange shines on the main European lists which slow down at the end following the cautious trend of Wall Street, in view of tomorrow’s data on American inflation in April. From the statistics, the market is in fact waiting for indications on the next monetary policy moves by the Federal Reserve.

On the currency market, theEuro / US dollar maintains its position substantially stable at 1.055. Weak session forgold, which trades with a drop of 0.34%. Sales on crude oil (Light Sweet Crude Oil) prevailed, continuing the day at $ 100.8 per barrel, down sharply by 2.23%.

The Spread it worsened, reaching +201 basis points, with an increase of 9 basis points compared to the previous value, with the yield of the ten-year BTP equal to 3.01%.

Among the markets of the Old Continent well bought Frankfurtwhich marks a sharp rise of 1.15%, compounded London, which grew by a modest + 0.37%; modest performance for Paris, which shows a moderate rise of 0.51%. Earnings day for the Milan Stock Exchange, where some big names were awarded for the quarterly accounts better than forecasts: the FTSE MIB shows a gain of 1.04%, thus blocking the bearish trail supported by four consecutive declines, which started last Wednesday, while, on the contrary, the FTSE Italia All-Share it collapsed by 2.80%, down to 24,920 points.

From the closing data of the Italian Stock Exchange, it appears that the exchange value in today’s session it amounted to € 2.19 billion, down by 14.32%, compared to the € 2.56 billion of the previous day; while the volumes traded went from 0.66 billion shares of the previous session to today’s 0.55 billion.

At the top of the ranking of the most important titles of Milan, we find BPER (+ 7.85%), Unicredit (+ 5.46%), Pirelli (+ 3.91%) e Inwit (+ 3.87%).

The worst performances, however, were recorded on Saipemwhich closed at -6.60%.

Sales hands on Leonardowhich suffers a decrease of 3.00%.

Bad performance for DiaSorinwhich recorded a decline of 2.45%.

Under pressure Iveco Groupwith a sharp decline of 1.65%.

Top of the ranking of mid-cap stocks from Milan, Mutuionline (+ 4.84%), Intercos (+ 3.69%), Sesa (+ 3.42%) e Illimity Bank (+ 2.93%).

The strongest declines, on the other hand, occurred on Ferragamowhich closed the session at -7.35%.

Black session for Safilowhich leaves a loss of 2.46% on the table.

At a loss Fincantieriwhich falls by 2.34%.

Suffers GVSwhich shows a loss of 1.91%.
