It’s on Instagram that Shanga Forsberg on Monday wrote on her social media that she and the footballer Emil Forsberg now go separate ways.
The couple who met in 2004 have been together for 19 years and today have two children together, which Shanga begins his text with.
“We will separate. And I never thought I would say after two children and 19 years together. Words that still feel unreal. I have loved you more than anything and always supported you. But even love has its limits,” writes Shanga .
During the winter, Forsberg left Germany and RB Leipzig to play in the New York Red Bulls. There he was immediately appointed team captain.
