Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg settle in a fight

Elon Musk states that the fight between him and Meta’s owner Mark Zuckerberg is approaching. On X (formerly Twitter) he writes that the match will take place in Italy.

“I spoke with the Italian Prime Minister and Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location,” writes the billionaire on social media.

Musk also writes that the fight is organized by both parties and not the organization UFC, which usually organizes MMA events.

He does not mention any date for the arrangement.

Proceeds go to charity

The match will be broadcast live on both Musk’s and Zuckerberg’s platforms. Musk states that the proceeds will go to charity.

Italy’s Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, confirms that he has held talks with Elon Musk about how a large charity event can be organized in the country, writes AFP.

It is still unclear where in Italy the fight will be held. The minister states that the match will not take place in Rome.

Elon Musk has previously talked about wanting the fight to take place in the Colosseum.

Italian government: “Opportunity to promote our history”

“Everything that is done will respect Italy’s past and present,” Musk wrote on Friday.

In his statement, Gennaro Sangiuliano states that an event organized by Musk had raised “several million euros”.

“It will also be an opportunity to promote our history and our archaeological, artistic and cultural heritage on a global level,” says the minister.

Meta owner Mark Zuckerberg is an outspoken martial arts enthusiast and has participated in several jiu-jitsu competitions. He has yet to officially confirm that the fight will take place.
