Tesla and SpaceX’s Chief Executive (CEO) Elon Musk announced that he was looking forward to attending Teknofest in person next year and discussing investment opportunities in Turkey. Sharing a video with Teknofest images, Musk congratulated all the teams participating in the competitions within the scope of the festival.

It was also announced that Teknofest, where Elon Musk is expected to attend, will be held in Adana in 2024. An entertaining promotional video about Adana was shared on Teknofest’s Twitter account. In the post titled “Come to Teknofest Adana”, a link was also given for the teams that will participate in the competition.

President Erdoğan also received Elon Musk as part of his bilateral meetings in New York, where he went in September 2023 to attend the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).
According to the statement made by the Presidential Directorate of Communications regarding the acceptance, President Erdoğan stated that cooperation opportunities with SpaceX may arise in the steps taken and to be taken within the scope of Turkey’s space program, and invited Musk to TEKNOFEST.
