Elias Pettersson with another art goal when Vancouver won again

Elias Pettersson is scoring strong in the NHL while Vancouver continues to do well. During the night came the third straight victory, seventh in the last ten games, when the New York Islanders were defeated on the road 5-2.

Nice bag

Pettersson’s goal – which made it 3-0 halfway into the match – was the Swede’s 20th of the season.

Teammate Filip Hronek won the puck back in the offensive zone, passed it to Pettersson who, after a nice pull and a wall play with JT Miller, was able to easily put the puck into the open goal (see clip above).

Pettersson (20+33) is in a battle with William Nylander to become the best scoring Swede in the NHL. Nylander is three points ahead (21+36) – after three assists last night. Vancouver hangs on top of the Western Conference. Second in the table, one point behind Winnipeg.
