– You are huge, especially that Edvin and Jens have taken their first medals. It warms tremendously with William too, but now we have two more that have done the associated club. I think these successes that these guys have made make the younger abilities really see that there is a chance. That this is where we should be together and fight, Åslund tells the Östersund Post.
The support on site during the World Cup in Trondheim
The club had several supporters in place in Trondheim, who was on the arena to cheer forward, Poromaa, Burman and the rest of the gang.

The men’s medals in all glory, but for the club and village, the success means more than that. It strengthens and gives the skiing village a “boost”, says Åslund. It puts the ridges on the map even more.
– Yeah, I should humbly say that we consolidate our position. Above all, many young people get a completely different view of the ridges. The elderly know who we are, but the younger ones probably have not seen this as clearly as the elderly who have experienced the previous gold generation. We are proud villagers. I try to find some sensible words but it strengthens us forward in so many ways. It gives a huge boost to the village. We strengthen the shares in all positions. It’s a super -lovely feeling, he says.
Rickard Åslund also confirms that Poromaa, Burman and states will of course be praised at home in the near future. However, they will wait until the season is over. He says it will be an association party that they are planning too full in this now.
Big congratulations to all the fantastic Swedes who took medals in Trondheim. It was a wonderful World Cup, especially for our girls. But also for the guys. Very good job everyone!
