At bac+2 level, the DUT is prepared in IUTs (University Institutes of Technology) which are integrated into universities. The course for a DUT lasts two years.   • the apprenticeship contract, for young people up to the age of 29;
  • the professionalization contract, from the age of 30.

The search for a company for a work-study program is very similar to the search for a job. You can contact companies by spontaneous application, or by responding to an offer. For this, make sure you are well prepared with an up-to-date CV detailed and a cover letter adapted to the structure to which you are addressing.

You will have several recruitment stages to go through: a first general presentation call, then one or more interviews with the Human Resources department and a future manager. To make these interviews as successful as possible, it is essential to prepare well! For this, you can write a presentation text of your career, which must be different from that of the cover letter, and take stock of the skills you have acquired and which can be useful to you during this alternation.
