Drug settlement in Halmstad went wrong – two get 15 years in prison

It was on December 11 that two men had gone to Andersberg in Halmstad in the belief that they would buy drugs from the now convicted men. Once there, they were attacked by masked people.

One of the men was stabbed and beaten and when shots were fired at the scene, the police were alerted.

When the police patrol arrived, three people were found near a residential building in the process of throwing things from a balcony. Things that later turned out to be large amounts of narcotics.

Long prison sentences

Both parties in the case are judged by police and prosecutors to be part of criminal groups in Halmstad.

Two men, 23 and 42 years old, one from Uppsala, one from Halmstad, are sentenced against their denial to 15 years in prison for a number of crimes including attempted murder and serious drug offences.

A third 17-year-old resident of Ängelholm is sentenced to closed youth care for serious assault and violence against an official.
