This weekend the Sami Floorball Championships were decided in connection with Ubmejen Biejvieh.
Six men’s teams and four women’s teams participated in the tournament and it was a double victory for Östra Kikkejaur.
The men defended the SC title and won 7-2 in the final against Sámi veagaid searvi from Karesuando.
– We won last year so the goal was to come here and win this year too so it feels great. It’s always extra fun to win, says Johan Renberg, player in Östra Kikkejaur.
The ladies crushed Åarjelnïejth Jåhkåmåhkesne from Jokkmokk 8-0 and it was their third straight gold.
