Several people were injured in two separate train accidents in Switzerland on Friday afternoon. Both accidents occurred near Bern, where a strong storm has also caused traffic accidents and damage to houses.
In Büren, at least twelve people were injured, including three children. One person is said to be seriously injured.
In nearby Lüscherz, several people were also injured, according to the police it is unclear how many. No one should have life-threatening injuries. In both accidents local trains derailed and overturned.
