Double setback for the Swedish national ski team – therefore both Jonna Sundling and Calle Halfvarsson miss the World Cup

Jonna Sundling stands over Tuesday’s sprint in Drammen. The Swedish sprint star needs to recover after the five-mile race in Holmenkollen this weekend, the national skiing team writes in a message.

Jonna Sundling is third in the overall Sprint Cup, 244 points behind the leader Lynn Svahn. This leaves only one sprint competition for Sundling, when the season ends in Falun this weekend.

The substitute in Tuesday’s sprint will be Moa Lundgren. But another interruption affects the Swedish national skiing team.

Also Calle Halfvarsson stands above the Norwegian competition. The reason is a respiratory infection after the competitions in Lahtis, which, despite improvement, still keeps him away from competing.

Halfvarsson is replaced by Truls Gisselman.
