Double fish record in the sea depth: “1,000 meters further down than normal”

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Two incredible fishing records have been set these days. A swimming fish caught on film at the greatest depth to date – and the deepest fishing catch. The previous deep-sea record for a fish was set in the Mariana Trench in 2017. It was 8,178 meters. – The fish you see in the film are 1,000 meters further down than where you would normally expect to find deep-sea fish, says research director Alan Jamieson.
