A powerful explosion has occurred on a balcony in a residential building in the Malmö district of Lindängen, during the night towards Wednesday.
The police were alerted at 02.30 and were able to find on the spot, among other things, that several window panes had been blown out. However, no people should have been physically injured. The National Bomb Squad has investigated the scene and the police are now continuing the investigation. There is currently no information on arrests.
Even at Tjörn on the west coast, it exploded last night, on a villa balcony.
The alarm came only a quarter of an hour after the detonation in Malmö, but the police do not believe that there is any connection between the events. Parts of the balcony are destroyed, but there are no reports of injuries.
The police are investigating the incident as public vandalism and have so far not arrested any suspects.
