It was just before midnight that the police received a call about a loud bang in a stairwell in Finspång.
When the police arrived at the scene, they could ascertain that something had exploded in connection with an apartment building.
No one is said to have been injured in connection with the explosion.
At a quarter past three on Wednesday, the police again received an alarm about loud bangs, this time from Linero on the outskirts of Lund.
Once there, the police could ascertain that something had detonated outside the entrance door to a stairwell. No one was physically harmed in this explosion either.
Both explosions are being investigated as public destruction.
