On Monday evening, the police received two reports of stabbings in Uddevalla.
Just before seven, an alarm was received by the police about a person who had been stabbed. According to early information to SOS, there must have been some type of fight where someone must have been armed with a knife. Police found blood in the square – but the injured person, an 18-year-old man, was found elsewhere.
– It could be some type of attempted robbery, but it is classified as attempted murder. The state of the damage is difficult to assess right now, says Stefan Gustafsson at the police, about the first incident.
About an hour later, the police received the second alarm. Again a knife cut, but this time the plaintiff must have been in his 30s.
“The injured person is said to have several injuries in the torso,” the police write on their website.
Is there any connection between the events?
– There is currently nothing like that, but it happened in the same area, not far from each other and both with knives so it is clear that we can use it as a thought, says Stefan Gustafsson.
The person in his 30s is assessed by paramedics to be seriously injured.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the first incident.
