Sweden’s new rally festival is called Royal Rally of Scandinavia, which from 2023 is part of the Rally EC. That after the International Motor Sport Federation has finally made a decision on the 2023 calendar for the ERC – European Rally Championship.
The first competition in Värmland will be run on July 7-8 next year.
– Now we can do what we have dreamed of for many years, to have a rally in the summer, says Glenn Olsson, CEO of Royal Rally of Scandinavia.
Base in Värmland
Royal Rally plans to build up the event both organizationally and geographically in Värmland. The idea is to build on the folk festival, the heritage and tradition created after all the years with the Swedish rally.
