Donald Trump is indicted on 37 counts
Former US President Donald Trump is indicted on 37 counts. That is clear after the indictment against him was announced on Friday in the case of the classified documents found at his private residence Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
The 49-page document lists the allegations against Trump.
Trump is accused, among other things, of having stored documents containing information about the defense capabilities of the United States and other nations, about the United States’ own nuclear weapons program. One document also allegedly contained a classified map that described a military operation issued by the Pentagon.
Trump claims to be completely innocent, and that the documents in question were not even classified.
