A doctor pronounced the wrong person dead at a nursing home in Linköping, which Siren also reported on.
A patient at the nursing home was reportedly found dead in his bed by night staff. The nurse on duty was contacted and received the information, but never went out to the residence.

Instead, the nurse documented the death in the wrong medical record. It appears from a lex Maria report to the Inspectorate for Care and Care (Ivo), which News24 took part in.
The doctor visited the residence to confirm the death and then issued a death certificate for the wrong patient, which was then sent to the Tax Authority.
