A doctor in Stockholm is suspected of having on several occasions falsified covid test results and then issued incorrect travel certificates, as is evident from a charge sheet that the Inspectorate for Care and Care (Ivo) has sent to the prosecutor, writes Läkartidningen.
The authority considers that the doctor is reasonably suspected of the forgeries after they received information that he had forged certificates on several occasions.
Already in 2020, the doctor must have been warned by his employer after another doctor at the same healthcare provider noticed that negative certificates had been issued before the test results came from the lab.
