(Tiper Stock Exchange) – It was removed from the Aiuti quater decreeapproved by the Council of Ministers a week ago, one of the most controversial and debated provisions of the decree: the raising of the ceiling for the use of cash from 1,000 to 5,000 euros from 1 January 2023.
A standard that the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni he had personally announced in the press conference following the CdM, explaining “we have chosen to raise the ceiling on cash to 5,000 euros; we had it in the program and the choice that has been made is to align with the European average“.
But the norm is suddenly disappeared from the latest draft of the Aiuti quater decree, close to publication in the Official Gazette, because apparently the Quirinale would not have recognized the reasons for the urgency which justify the inclusion of the standard in a government decree.
But the League assures that the law will go into Maneuver. “No problem: from 1 January 2023 the ceiling for the use of cash will rise to 5 thousand euros. The rule will be included in the Budget Law”, says Carroccio.
