The daily impact of the Russian invasion war on those affected in Ukraine has now received another element of concern: US President Donald Trump.
-Talking to the pig fur Putin-a thief, a Hitler in our century: It is completely, completely wrong, says 65-year-old Svitlana to the news agency AFP’s correspondent in Kiev. She carried white hat and fur against the cold and on a complete distrust of US President Donald Trump and his full reversal compared to former President Joe Biden’s uncompromising support to Ukraine.
– Trump’s statements seem to come directly from the Kremlin. It is as if Moscow is writing everything (as Trump is saying) for him, Svitlana continues.
Battle cascade
The interview was done before Trump called Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyj “Dictator”, but the White House’s previous play is enough to arouse distrust and anger.
“It’s not just me, but all Ukrainians, who come to their own conclusions about who Trump is,” the soldier Banias told AFP.
And so he notes that the development is absurd:
– To blame Ukraine for starting the war, it is some kind of absurdity. As an Ukrainian, it is impossible to understand.
Three years of invasion
The cold is biting in the capital, wing alarms and power outages have been recurring everyday for almost three years, as have funerals of soldiers who have fallen into the Russian invasion war.
The plays from Donald Trump, his closest and representatives in the US administration have come at a furious pace, it is difficult to navigate everything that is said, says the student Valerij, who calls for some thoughtfulness.
– It has only been a month since the presidential change in the United States. I think like this: It is still unclear whether Trump’s policy will happen at Ukraine’s expense, the 20-year-old Valerij told AFP’s correspondent.
