For many film fans, Hocus Pocus is one of the first points of contact with fantasy and especially horror cinema. Of the Disney classic from 1993 combines horrifying images with a lot of humor and weird ideas. This year, the witch adventure continues with Hocus Pocus 2 on Disney+.
The project has been haunting Hollywood since 2014. Now it’s finally within reach, as the freshly released teaser trailer proves. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy return in their familiar roles. Doug Jones, who was also in the original, throws himself into the spooky fun again.

The action of Hocus Pocus 2 begins 29 years after the first part and tells how the three Sanderson sisters – namely Winnie (Midler), Sarah (Parker) and Mary (Najimy) – once again ends up in the Salem of the present. Three young people then do everything they can to stop the nasty witches.
When will Hocus Pocus 2 launch on Disney+?
We don’t have to wait too long for the fantasy horror cult to return. Hocus Pocus starts already on September 30, 2022 on Disney+. The film was directed by Anne Fletcher, who is known for Step Up and The Bride, among other things.
