EDF Pulse is setting up an ecosystem promoting collaborations between start-ups, entrepreneurs and investment funds to achieve carbon neutrality as quickly as possible.

Initially provided for by the law of Energetic transition of 2015, the Carnet Digital du Logement (CNL) was to be launched in January 2020 in the form of a digital tool. Its aim was to fight against constructions consuming too much energy by pointing out the essential information for maintenance and renovations potential housing. Without having had time to really see the light of day, the CNL was replaced by the CIL, the Housing Information Book, adopted on July 20, 2021, a few weeks after the end of the campaign. The Digital Housing Book: the perception of Pulsers

Of the 710 Pulseurs registered for this campaign, 67% participated, giving rise to 2,606 ideas and comments, a great success!

The results of the Pulseurs are almost unanimous, the CNL is undoubtedly an innovative, efficient and intuitive tool. Its daily utility is real and responds to a capital need. As proof, the rating they gave him reached 4/5. The Pulsers highlight a CNL with intuitive ergonomics and design and operational and efficient features. The CNL also offers them many advantages in various housing-related situations (moving house, sale, equipment management …).

This solution, the Digital Housing Book, has an undeniable advantage, the centralization of documents relating to housing. This is a useful way to group them together and keep them handy. Note that its daily practicality would encourage one in two people to spend more than one euro to be able to use it.

During the previous EDF Pulse & You campaign relating to the CNL, it was essential for the Pulsers to have a high level of safety. Feedback from this second campaign indicates that this aspect is a real asset. In addition to this point with securing documents against loss or theft, they indicate that the environmental dimension, resulting in paper savings thanks to the digitization, is also an interesting benefit.

The improvements expected around the Carnet Numérique du Logement

The security of the CNL and the multiple actions to connect make the user experience more complex. Nevertheless, these difficulties become more easily surmountable when the Pulsers consult the videos and rely on the tutorials dedicated. In fact, 84% of them viewed them to be helped in mastering CNL.

The campaign revealed that the Pulseurs put forward practical expectations: reminders to facilitate the daily management of the CNL (monitoring of the housing consumption, appointment, maintenance equipment, etc.), alert service (maintenance, ventilation, fire, etc.), housing monitoring, desire for a solution developed for smartphone. These expectations, as well as the contributions and ideas of the Pulseurs, are essential to move forward in the development of this tool.
