Digital Bros expects revenue growth for the full year

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Digital Brosa group active in the videogames market and listed on Euronext STAR Milan, closed the first half of the 2022-2023 financial year (ending 31 December 2022) with consolidated net revenues equal to 59.8 million euros, up by 8.1% compared to the same period of 2021. The gross operating margin amounted to 18.6 million euros (31.1% of consolidated net revenues), compared to 19.7 million euros in the previous year. The Net income was 11 million euros, a slight increase compared to the 10.4 million euros recorded as at 31 December 2021.

In line with expectations, the net financial position was negative by 19,531 thousand euros, compared to the positive 3,707 thousand euros recorded as at 30 June 2022, decreasing by 23,238 thousand euros due to the significant investments in the period.

With regard to the outlook, investments in video game development will materialize with the launch of the personal computer version of Crime Boss: Rockay City on March 28, 2023 and in the last quarter of the year the console versions of Crime Boss together with the video game Miasma Chronicles in all formats. The revenues for the year will also be able to benefit from the revenues of the newly acquired American company 505 Go. “According to this, the group expects consolidated revenue growth for the full year“, reads a note.

In addition, the group expects to exceed 80 million euros investments for the whole year and “on the basis of this we expect revenues to grow at least for the next two years”, it is underlined.
