Oudewater – Wheelchair tennis player Diede de Groot has won the doubles tournament of the US Open in New York. The 25-year-old from Oudewater and compatriot Aniek van Koot were a size too big for the Japanese Yui Kamiji and Kgothatso Montjane from South Africa in the final. The two sets ended in 6-2.
