Something has exploded at an apartment building in Borås, the police write on their website.
– What we know is that there was some form of detonation. When we get there, we see that the gate is blown up, says the police officer on duty, Sara Lundh.
There is no information that anyone was injured in the detonation. The residents are still inside the house.
– We are now waiting for the national bomb protection, which will ensure that there can be no further explosions, says Sara Lundh.
The incident is being investigated as gross destruction of public danger and the alarm came just before 02:00.
