Something detonated in the entrance to an apartment building in Valsta north of Stockholm shortly before midnight on Friday.
– We received several calls from callers who had heard a very loud bang. When we got there, we could ascertain that there had been a detonation, says Per Fahlström, press spokesperson at the police.
The door and facade have damage, but there are no reports of personal injuries. The site has been cordoned off and the National Bomb Squad is on its way.
The police have a large operation in the area and are looking for one or more perpetrators.
Do you have any information on whether the detonation may have been aimed at a specific person?
– We are in the process of investigating possible motive images, but what we have come up with is too early to comment on, says Per Fahlström.
