Having defeated its opponent 3-1 in the finals held in Izmir, Denizbank Istanbul Wildcats became the champion in the LoL Summer Season Finals.
Izmir hosted one of Turkey’s biggest esports events. DenizBank Istanbul Wildcats became the champion in the 2023 League of Legends (LoL) Championship League Summer Season Finals. DenizBank Istanbul Wildcats defeated NASR Esports 3-1 to reach the cup.
Denizbank Istanbul Wildcats became the champion of LoL Summer Season Finals
DenizBank Istanbul Wildcats won the championship for the 4th time in a row, reaching the cup in the final held at the Adnan Saygun Art Center, hosted by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, in collaboration with İZFAŞ and Ninja Company. The team had previously enjoyed the championship in 2022 Winter, 2022 Summer and 2023 Winter seasons. LoL fans showed great interest in the final and created colorful images.
Hosting three Turkish and two South Korean athletes in its squad, the team represented our country in the EMEA Masters tournament, where the best teams from the European, North African and Middle Eastern domestic leagues took part, and brought the trophy to Turkey.
DenizBank Istanbul Wildcats’ South Korean shooter BAO was selected as the most valuable player of the final with his performance. BAO also competed in the final held in Izmir last year. The successful player managed to experience the joy of championship in İzmir after a year.
It will compete in the EMEA Masters, where the three most successful teams of the Championship League will compete and the best teams from the European, North African and Middle East local leagues will take part. The tournament, in which DenizBank Istanbul Wildcats, NASR Esports and FUT Esports will represent our country, will start on 13 August.
