Jerry Springer, presenter of “The Jerry Springer Show”, died in the morning, this Thursday, April 27, according to several Anglo-Saxon media. If the man was used to “sensationalist” scenes on television, it was peacefully that he died at his home in Chicago after a “short illness”, according to the people site TMZ which cites a family source.
Did Jerry Springer have any health issues?
Jerry Springer had been fighting for several months against “pancreatic cancer” according to the details of the American magazine. Tabloid sources say the fight against the disease had intensified over the past month and the host’s condition had “worsened” this week. Cancer would also have forced Jerry Springer to slow down and interrupt the animation of a music program on a local radio station in Cincinnati.

Jerry Springer was a star of the small screen thanks to his eponymous show which aired from 1991 to 2018. Over the 27 years of the program’s broadcast and evolution, the host had become an icon and for some one of the founders of “Trash TV”, understand “trash TV”, in the United States.
