CAROL ARNAUD. Singer Carol Arnauld, known in the 1980s for the song “C’est pas facile”, died of illness at the age of 61.

Carol Arnauld passed away on Friday September 9. The singer, known in the 1980s, was 61 years old. According to the Journal de Saône-et-Loire, which reveals the information, the artist succumbed to “a long illness”. His funeral will take place on Wednesday September 14 at 3 p.m. at the Funérarium de Crissey, in Saône-et-Loire. Carol Arnauld made a name for herself in 1986 with the song It’s not easy, inspired by the car accident that killed her brother and the pain of the relatives who remain.

After the success, Carol Arnauld had moved away from the spotlight and had settled, in 1991, near Chalon-sur-Saône, reports the local media. She had devoted herself to her other passion, cooking. In 2010, the singer participated in the Tender Age tour, alongside other stars of the 80s.

In Chalon-sur-Saône, Carol Arnauld ran a restaurant, but also “created guest rooms with Kenny Quaïo, his companion for 33 years”, reports the Journal de Saône-et-Loire. The artist, who never stopped singing, more anonymously, also loved to paint.
