In a grocery store in Umeå, Valentine’s Day was celebrated properly. In the entrance, you had to choose between two different shopping baskets. Red for singles and black for the busy. Something one hoped would lead to some mingling, singles in between. The store also offered bubbly and sandwiches. – More red baskets than we had expected, says store manager Pontus Häggqvist, about the initiative for Valentine’s Day.
