Still a little patience for the fans who yearn to find the culinary show presented by Stéphane Rotenberg!

The big change in season 13 of Top Chef comes in the jury. M6 has decided to renew the team by replacing Michel Sarran by Glenn Viel, juror seen as a guest chef on several occasions in the culinary competition. He will coach the orange team: “I obviously jumped at the chance. We had a lot of fun discovering these young talents who show that French gastronomy still has a bright future ahead of it”. Philippe Etchebest, Hélène Darroze and Paul Pairet will be back as jurors in 2022.

During a press conference in January 2022, Stéphane Rotenberg sketched the outlines of the next season of Top Chef. He sums it up in these words: “a new promotion surprising in character on the one hand, and a pantheon of great chefs on the other”. Among the guest chefs already announced for this 2022 edition, let us mention Alexandre Gauthier, elected chef of the year 2016, Clare Smyth, the first woman to win three stars in the United Kingdom, Dominique Crenn, the first three Michelin star chef in the United States. United, or even Pia Leon, elected best chef in the world in 2021.

Among the events of Top Chef 2022, viewers will be able to find great classics, such as La Boîte Noire or La Guerre des Restos. New events will also be presented to the faithful of the program: they will have to commit to a cause through a shocking visual, or even imagine a living dessert. Season 13 of Top Chef promises many surprises.

On June 9, 2021, the last season of Top Chef ended with the coronation of Mohamed Cheikh, candidate for Hélène Darroze’s brigade, against Sarah Mainguy. The 2022 edition has been preparing since. However, we will have to wait for the official confirmation of the broadcast date to know exactly when Top Chef will return to the screens in 2022.

Fifteen candidates have been selected to compete in season 13 of Top Chef. Among them, there are notably 12 men, three women, including 3 Belgians. This is the case of Louise, chef of her own restaurant; Thibault Spiwack, chef of the Anona restaurant in Paris, which stands out for its eco-responsible cuisine, Sébastien Renard, chef in Hauts-de-France; Elis Bond, who won the title of young talent by Gault et Millau (2019); Lilian, manager of a supermarket who was unable to open her own restaurant due to the coronavirus pandemic.
