Cyberpunk 2077 makes an unexpected comeback on PC

As Forrest Gump said so well: “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to come across”. A philosophy of life that we could well apply today to the France charts for Week 02 of the year 2022. Like every Monday, SELL has updated the ranking of the best console and PC game sales via the figures of GfK, and we observe an unexpected comeback, that of Cyberpunk 2077 which returns to the Top 3 of the best sales on PC. This is all the more surprising since the title does not know any major update, but it seems that the game benefits from a somewhat more special aura this week. The studio CD Projekt Red more generally, since The Witcher 3 continues to keep its second position, which came out of nowhere last week already.

On consoles, we can less feign surprise since we find the same games again and again, with however a surge of Mario Party Superstars which takes the lead in the ranking, ahead of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing New Horizons. If Pokémon Sparkling Diamond retains fourth place, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart falls to leave its 5th position to FIFA 22, which returns thanks to the PS4 version.
