Curling: Team Edin decides with the last rock in the tie-breaker against Switzerland

5-4 lead to Switzerland before the eighth round. Then there would be tension and Lag Edin’s last stone meant two points for Sweden and a 6-5 lead.

The final stone of the tenth round would be Switzerland’s salvation. 7-5 to Sweden and Switzerland needed to take two points to make it to the knockout round. Then they succeeded with a giant stone.

– It’s nice, it’s such good curling!, says commentator Gustav Zetterlund.

And the last stone in the arbitration round was absolutely perfect, which meant a Swedish victory to 8-7.

– We fought back and getting the win was great. Really good effort by the whole team, says Niklas Edin in the broadcast.

Now Team Edin has three straight wins in the World Cup after earlier on Sunday morning having defeated Japan 9-5.

Sweden’s team consists of Niklas Edin, Christoffer Sundgren, Rasmus Wranå, Oskar Eriksson and Daniel Magnusson.
