Maja Dahlqvist now lives in Falun. But in the summer there will be a move west, something like The Express told earlier this week.
– The World Cup is there next year, so it will be an extra boost to be in the World Cup location. And Kevin (the American boyfriend and skier Bolger) has his coach there and has spent many summers there and claims that it is the best place on earth to train, says Dahlqvist to SVT Sport.
What do you think the move will bring you?
– It should provide a lot of new motivation. Just being able to practice on the tracks motivates me a lot. And to see new things.
– I love Falun and the group here is as good as any, so a move is also very negative. But I can run every lap here blindfolded and ride backwards in the tracks because I know exactly how the tracks run. I’ve lived here for ten years, so it’s time for something new.
Even Frida Karlsson is eager to visit and train there.
– When they checked the apartment, I had one requirement and that was that there should be an extra room, she says and laughs.
