Cross-country skiing: Linn Svahn after third place: “I’m getting old”

It was once again a display from Jonna Sundling in the 10 km classic, where she secured her third SM gold in as many days.

Bronze medalist Linn Svahn had a hard time keeping up, 43.6 seconds behind Sundling, and admits that a long season is starting to take its toll.

– This body needs a vacation. I’m so tender. It feels like I’m going at a steady pace, but it’s slow against these “reeds”, she tells SVT Sport and continues:

– Actually, I think I don’t have this overdrive that I usually open with. I’m getting old, drive some diesel – get the last three going instead. I think all these competitions that sit in the body mean that the crossing will come back after the summer and some rest.

Ebba Andersson finished second, 32 seconds behind Sundling.
