According to the data of the Ministry of Health, 94 thousand 783 cases of coronavirus were detected in Turkey in the last 24 hours; 174 people died due to Covid-19.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, in the message he shared on his Twitter account, stated that the increase in the number of cases was “caused by the Omicron variant” and that this should not be understood as “despairing”.

“The virus is not at its former strength. The alarming period of the epidemic is now over. We will continue our lives by following the precautions and without interrupting our vaccinations. The agenda of the world is returning to normal,” Koca said.
