Current EU parliamentarian Karin Karlsbro won. Anna Maria Corazza Bildt came second in the Liberals’ trial election ahead of the party’s determination of the list for the EU elections next year.
There was a bit of a stir when Corazza Bildt, former EU parliamentarian for the Moderates, recently appeared as a candidate for L.
The result is advisory only. No later than October 13, the party’s nomination committee must submit its proposal for the EU electoral list before the national meeting November 17-19.
