Drs. Alexandra Ferrara, Pooria Ghadiri and Jared Tschirhart will complete the clinical portion of their medical training while working with local physicians and the hospital’s health-care team.

“Chatham-Kent offers a vibrant rural community with a wide range of family medicine opportunities,” Dr. Zeke Milkovic, acting chief of staff, said in a recent release.

“Residents will have the opportunity to work and train alongside highly skilled physicians and will gain experience in many aspects of practicing medicine. I am confident that they will make significant contributions to the health and well-being of the community during their time at CKHA.”

Ferrara, born and raised in Chatham, is returning to her hometown. Previously, she earned a bachelor of science at Western University, followed by a master of public health at Brock University, and studied medicine at the University of Limerick.
