Chess is on the rise among primary school students In

Utrecht – No football or hockey sticks, but pawns, bishops and horses. More than 150 children, accompanied by almost as many parents, came to the School Chess Championship in Utrecht today. Primary school students from Utrecht, Vleuten, De Meern and Haarzuilens competed on the chessboard for the title and a ticket for the regional championship.
