Norrköping’s dairy is recalling several cheeses of the Basimo brand as they may contain listeria. Consumers are urged to throw away the cheese, the Swedish Food Agency writes in a press release.

“All stores that have this batch must stop sales and return the product to the dairy. Private people return to the store,” Norrköping dairies write on their website.

Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium that can cause serious illness in the frail elderly, pregnant women and people with compromised immune systems.

Basimo Msanara 800 g, best before date 240416

Basimo Vitost 1300 g, best before date 240322

Basimo Vitost, 900 g, best before date 240225

Basimo Akawi, 400g, best before date 240307
