Chatham job fair will feature employers from wide range of

Employment seekers will be able to reach a large number of employers looking for workers during a job fair on Wednesday.

The Learning, Earning and Living CK Career Expo and Job Fair runs from 3 pm to 7 pm at the John D. Bradley Center at 565 Richmond St.

The event is “a unique opportunity for local and external job seekers to connect with local employers actively looking to hire,” said Victoria Bodnar, manager of community attraction and promotion with the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, in a media release.

“Whether you’re interested in healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, construction, trades, or other in-demand sectors, this event offers exciting career possibilities,” she added.

The attending are reminded to bring their resumes so they can apply on the spot to local companies.

Funding to hold the job fair has come from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs’ Rural Economic Development grant along with support from local community organizations.
